3mm Vietnam Riverine

Heres the start of my 3mm Vietnam riverine forces.   The LCU was from a company that is no longer producing the PBR's are from O8 miniatures thru Pico Armor and the Charlie and Tango boats are from Mini and beyond thru shapeways.  These are based and ready for the primary coat.

Next we have the base coat painting ready for the detailing (not much too do in this scale) and the black wash then the base done.

The bases are started just need to detail to finish.

Picture of the almost finished LCU and ATC (H)

Here are the finished models in a basic scene.  I am just starting to work on my new terrain to go with these but this gives an idea of how it will work.

I am really impressed by the quality of the riverine boats from Mini and beyond.  Richard did an excellent job and I can't wait for the next items to be available.   This items can be purchased from http://www.picoarmor.com/ and http://www.shapeways.com/.   Hope you enjoy more to come soon.    Gary

Another Joust Picture

Here's another picture of my jousters.  I modified the stat sheets to include the picture of the knight.

I'm looking for a set of plastic bleachers for the spectators has anyone seen anything in 1/18 scale that would work.   If not I might get the castle from Schleich and use that.   Thanks  Gary

New area of interest Joust from Two Hour Wargames

Got Joust from Two Hour Wargames when it first came out and have found that I really enjoy it as I do all of Ed's games.   Here are some pictures of my Knights that I'm starting to collect.

I am starting to collect Schleish and Papo.  Found out that Bibi are a little small and don't match well with the otheres.

More to follow.

15mm Chariot Stadium - First Look

We the release of TwoHour Wargames new Chariot racing game I have started the first design of my racing stadium.

This is the basic startup of the layout. The Dolphins in the middle will be painted gold and mounted on a bar so they can mark the laps.

Better idea of how the corner will look. The statue on the end will be painted an antique bronze.

The straightaway zones will be 8" x 4.5" with each spot 2" x 1.5". I am still working on how to setup the corners haven't decided yet.

More to come soon.
